Metni İkiliye Dönüştürme ve Geri Alma Adım Adım
Quick Answer
Metni binary'e dönüştürmek için: metninizi Text to Binary Converter'a yapıştırın ve binary temsil anında görünür (her karakter 8 bit olarak). Binary'yi metne çözmek için: binary'yi Binary to Text tool'a yapıştırın. Tüm işleme tarayıcınızda yerel olarak olur.
Introduction
Step by Step
-
Open the Text to Binary Converter
Go to the Text to Binary tool page. The tool has two modes: Text to Binary (encode) and Binary to Text (decode).
-
Enter your text
In encode mode, paste or type the text you want to convert. Each character is converted to its binary representation. For ASCII characters, this is 8 bits per character.
-
Read the binary output
The tool converts each character to its binary code using charCodeAt() and toString(2), padded to 8 bits. The output is a sequence of 0s and 1s, typically space-separated for readability.
-
Copy the binary
Click Copy to copy the binary string to your clipboard. Use it for educational purposes, debugging, or low-level programming.
-
Decode binary back to text
Switch to decode mode and paste a binary string (8-bit groups, optionally space-separated). The tool converts each 8-bit group back to a character using parseInt(bits, 2) and String.fromCharCode().
Examples
Encode 'Hello'
Input: Hello
Output: 01001000 01100101 01101100 01101100 01101111
Encode 'A'
Input: A
Output: 01000001
Decode binary to text
Input: 01001000 01101001
Output: Hi
Encode a number as text
Input: 42
Output: 00110100 00110010
Common Problems
- Confusing text characters with numbers —'42' as text is two characters ('4' and '2'), each 8 bits. The number 42 as a single byte is 00101010.
- Non-ASCII characters need more than 8 bits —emoji and non-Latin scripts use multiple bytes in UTF-8. A simple 8-bit converter cannot handle them correctly.
- Missing spaces in binary input —when decoding, the tool needs to know where each byte starts. Space-separated input is safest; some tools accept unseparated 8-bit groups.
- Leading zeros stripped —binary '00000001' must keep leading zeros. Number conversion may drop them; always pad to 8 bits.
Tips
- Use 8-bit (one byte) per character for ASCII text —this is the most common format and is compatible with all decoders.
- For Unicode text (emoji, CJK), use a UTF-8 aware converter that handles multi-byte characters correctly.
- Binary representation is useful for understanding how computers store text —but use it for education, not for data storage (it is 8x larger than the original).
- Use our Text to Binary and Binary to Text tools for instant, private conversion in your browser.
