What is PDF 병합기?
A PDF merger combines multiple PDF files into a single document, concatenating pages in the chosen order. This is useful for assembling reports from chapters, combining scanned pages, or joining signed contracts with attachments. The merged PDF preserves each source's pages, bookmarks, and form fields where possible. Processing happens in the browser so confidential documents are not uploaded.
How It Works
Each input PDF is parsed client-side into its page tree and resource dictionary. The merger constructs a new PDF document, importing page objects from each source in sequence and rewriting cross-reference entries to point at the new structure. Page rotation, size, and embedded resources (fonts, images) are carried over. The output is serialized as a fresh PDF with a rebuilt xref table. All work is local.
Common Use Cases
- Assembling multi-chapter reports — merge separate section PDFs into one deliverable
- Combining scanned pages — join individually scanned sheets into a single document
- Appending supporting material — add exhibits or cover sheets to a main contract
- Creating course packs — merge syllabus, readings, and assignments for students
Technical Details
Engine: client-side JavaScript PDF library. Page order follows the input sequence (drag to reorder). Bookmarks and form fields from source PDFs are preserved where the library supports them; interactive form AcroForm merging can be limited. Encrypted PDFs require their passwords. Output is a standard PDF 1.4+ file. No content is uploaded.
